Sue Pready - Healer

"Being in your element is not only about aptitude, it’s about passion; it’s about loving what you do - tapping into your natural energy and your most authentic self" I have been practicing and teaching Reiki since 2003 when I qualified as a Reiki Master Teacher and left my post in local government to work in the healing arts. I am a member of both the Reiki Federation and the Reiki Association and have worked in three complementary health clinics, two hospices on a voluntary basis and in private practice. Since 2005 I have also been a practicing full healer member of the Healing Trust (formerly the National Federation of Spiritual Healers) having completed their two-year training programme whilst working at the NFSH Healing Centre in St Albans for three years. More recently I have extended my practice to include mentoring student healer members of the Healing Trust. In 2007 - through a deeply felt sense of resonance - I began training as a sound healer with The College of Sound Healing and qualified in 2009. The core practitioner training with the College places fundamental emphasis on the use of the voice and this has proved to be a profoundly meaningful experience for me. By discovering my true voice and what really makes my heart sing - both literally and metaphorically - I feel I am coming home to my true self. This is why I am now directing my work increasingly towards sound healing and to facilitating events, gatherings, workshops and related activities within this field. A the same time, Psychosynthesis Psychology - which I have been studying at the London Institute since 2009 - further informs and underlies my work and continuing personal and professional development. I take an ethical approach to my work and am bound by the Codes of Conduct of each healing modality I practice. Underlying my overall approach is a personal guiding ethos reflected in these words: "Deep inside you exists a place of infinite beauty and rest, of dancing and joy and playful being, of limitless vision and infinite abundance. This space constitutes our true being. Sue Pready Memberships
